Touch Bionics Receives Helping Hand
Touch Bionics, spun out of NHS Lothian in 2003 by SHIL, have secured £2.5 million of investment from business angel groups. Touch Bionics who offers world-leading prosthetic technologies along with support services for people with upper limb deficiencies, will use the investment to undergo a "major period of expansion".
The new funding will allow Touch Bionics to increase significantly the sales infrastructure needed to support its new product range, whilst also supporting the continued development of new and existing products.
