SHIL were delighted to be invited to sponsor the 2011 NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Chairman's award. For a second year running, SHIL have been involved in generating the shortlist of candidates and commending winners in the different categories. Presenting the awards for the 2011 winners was Deputy First Minister for Scotland, Nicola Sturgeon MSP In the Nursing category: Kirsteen Casy, Margaret Gray & Mary Clark, Chris Kelly and Elsbeth McLatchie In the Improving Health category: Woodlands Centre Garden Dental Services for Children with Autism In the Environmental Category: Glasgow City CHP (South Sector) In the Clinical Practise category: One stop shop allergy clinic The overall winner of the Chairman's Award for Excellence: Chris Kelly, Nurse Specialist for IBD from Paisley's Royal Alexandra Hospital.  |
